To ensure that the transport of liquids is carried out in a safe and correct manner, Gentenaar Transport is a member of CEFIC (European Chemical Industry Counsil). Cefic has developed the quality standard SQAS (Safety & Quality Assessment for Sustainability).
SQAS is an assessment system to check whether the service provider meets the requirements set with regard to organization, quality, safety and the environment. Gentenaar Transport meets the very strict SQAS standard and is therefore the ideal partner for the transport of your liquid (ADR) products.
Behavior Based Safety (BBS) is a very important part of working safely within Gentenaar Transport.
The Behavior Based Safety according to CEFIC guideline is a course that is aimed at drivers who work in the chemical industry. The drivers are trained in the field of accident prevention, error avoidance, taking into account the mistakes of others and (unsafe) traffic conditions. There is also attention for fuel savings.
BBS is a training that is undergone by all drivers to ensure safety and knowledge. During the course, attention is paid to individual strengths and weaknesses of the driver, and improvement of behavioral attitudes.
BBS is also part of the SQAS system.
Dangerous substances are also called ADR substances.
The regulations for the transport of dangerous goods by road are contained in a European agreement, the ADR (Accord européen relatively au transport international de marchandises Dangereuses par Route). The ADR is part of the Dutch VLG (Regulations for the Land Transport of Dangerous Substances). The Transport of Dangerous Goods Act forms the basis of the regulations for the transport of dangerous goods by road.
All our drivers are ADR trained and certified. In this way, Gentenaar Transport guarantees safety and knowledge at all times during the transport of dangerous substances.
ISOPA is the European trade association for manufacturers of Diisocyanates and Polyols, the main building blocks of polyurethane.
ISOPA represents all major manufacturers of diisocyanates and polyols operating in Europe including Shell, BASF, Dow, Bayer, Huntsman.
Our drivers are ISOPA certified to be able to transport these special products.
